"Between 3 and 5 July 2019, the Institute for Applied Research on Skilled Crafts and Trades (IAGF), in cooperation with the Knowledge-based Management Division at the WU Vienna University of Economics and Business hosted the fourth International Conference on Theory and Applications in the Knowledge Economy (TAKE). The TAKE conference can be seen as one of the top three knowledge management conferences in Europe. For the first time, the conference was organized in partnership between academia and business, which emphasizes the intention of the conference community to deliver on pressing issues relevant for practice. The publication is intended to contribute to a stronger establishment of the scientific discussion regarding small and medium-sized enterprises and their handling of knowledge and learning.
