Rezension (ekz): Neuauflage des 2010 erschienenen Tite) (2010). Das sehr umfangreiche und detaillierte Buch ist zu schwer für das Reisegepäck, aber eignet sich gut zum Nachschlagen. Interessant für Outdoorfans und für alle, die einfach nur wissen wollen, welche möglichen Überlebensstrategien man anwenden müsste, sollte man jemals in eine kritische Situation geraten - und zwar im heimischen Wald, in Schnee und Eis, in den Bergen, auf dem Wasser, in der Wüste und im Dschungel. Auch wenn man sich mit vielen Situationen lieber nur theoretisch beschäftigen möchte: Die durch Corona wieder beliebt gewordene "Wanderlust", hat sicher das Interesse an Survival-Tipps noch einmal gesteigert. Vom Autor wurde das Thema 2012 als handliche Unterwegs-Ausgabe (2012) und 2020 als Einsteigerbuch für Kinder und Jugendliche (2020) veröffentlicht. Inhaltlich hat sich in der Neuauflage nicht viel verändert, aktualisiert wurden die Hinweise auf weiterführende Internetseiten und Institutionen, deshalb sollten ältere Auflagen ersetzt werden.
