Eine umfangreiche Sammlung von Denksportaufgaben aus der Unterhaltungsmathematik mit Lösungen und Quellenangaben. Rezension (ekz): Der Aachener Physikprofessor trägt in seiner Freizeit mathematische Knobeleien aus aller Herren Länder zusammen und bereitet sie für Zeitschriften oder Wochenendbeilagen von Tageszeitungen auf. Aus diesem Fundus hat er bereits etliche Sammlungen mit Denksportaufgaben zusammengestellt und in Buchform veröffentlicht, zuletzt "Kopfnuss". Die neueste enthält ca. 200 unterhaltsame, bunt gemischte Aufgaben aus verschiedenen Gebieten, stets mit kommentierten Lösungen und Quellenangaben im 2. Teil. Viele dieser Aufgaben lassen sich ohne mathematischen Aufwand lösen, manchmal sind Grundkenntnisse der Geometrie, Algebra oder Zahlentheorie nötig, und bei einigen heisst die Lösung auch "nicht lösbar". Überschneidungen mit älteren Sammlungen sind nicht auszuschliessen, in dem ebenfalls bei Anaconda erschienenen "Heureka!" konnte ich keine entdecken. Als preisgünstiger Nachschubtitel für Liebhaber der Unterhaltungsmathematik gern empfohlen. (2 S) |
